It wasn’t just “Breaking News” it was a “Developing Story”. For twenty minutes. Like the circumstances surrounding Hugh Jackman whizzing down a zipline over the Opera House forecourt MIGHT AT SOME POINT ACTUALLY ALTER IN A SIGNIFICANT WAY.
It’s Channel 9. The same thing yesterday except it was about being on Russell Crowes fucking yacht. Needless to say, after 10 minutes, I realised I should I either shoot myself or watch something that might not kill off my braincells. I switched over to ABC News 24.
Channel Nine is a joke sometimes. This is a perfect example. IT WAS A FLYING FOX SLIDE, NOT A JUMBO PLANE DIVE. It did not need to be all we saw for twenty minutes. And then they went on to say they had to lead an ‘injured, bloody Hugh’ to the ambulance. He had a black eye. Not exactly ‘bloody’, is it? Being over-dramatic for the sake of viewers is just pathetic.
Life-changing stuff, Channel 9. Really. I was thrilled by the coverage.
MY AREA HAS NEWS LIKE THIS TOO. There’s nothing better to report on.
